Industrial & Commercial

In early 2009, SGC developed an independent Industrial and Commercial department, set up to cater for the needs of our larger clients and our growing customer profile.

The department is led by Malcolm Blackmore, one of the three Company Director's, who leads the team from the front.  This enables 'SGC Industrial and Commercial' to benefit from excellent experience, excellent customer focus and excellent leadership. 

Our large team consists of very experienced, competent and professional engineers which allows SGC to be one of the leading members in the Industrial and Commercial industry in the southern area.

We offer our industrial and commercial gas services
to a wide range of clients including hospitals,
nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, warehouses
and factories.

With customer such as the NHS, Somerset County Council and Homes In Sedgemoor Commercial as well as other private firms including Latona Leisure, Seeability and many more, SGC understand the concept of providing consistency in a quality and professional service, offering adaptable services, hitting KPI's and other performance targets set by you, the customer.   

We have the capability and the facilities to provide an emergency line, 24hrs a day to any of our clients, with a targeted turnaround time of 3 hours to any call, something that has been possible for 15 years of service.

Servicing Gas
Servicing is arranged on request and can be incorporated into a regular gas service visit if required. Equipment covered includes water heaters, boilers, free standing or suspended warm air units, radiant heaters and catering equipment. Combustion analysis is incorporated in the gas servicing of all industrial and commercial gas boilers.

Installation
We offer quotations for installation, prepared after a free initial visit and consultation to determine the nature of the plant and the individual clients requirements. We have the ability to design a gas system tailored to the clients needs to include pipe, appliances and line diagrams.

Maintenance
We undertake repairs on the complete range of industrial and commercial gas appliances and are able to provide spare parts to order for most makes and models.

All work is carried out to British Gas specifications. Charges will vary according to pipe size, length of run, route and condition of the pipe work.

We also offer meter housing installation, secondary metering, pressure regulation, energy efficiency advice and reports.
